New Oracle Maintenance Wizard Takes You From E-Business Suite 12.0.x to 12.0.4
The Oracle Maintenance Wizard is a free tool that guides you through the code line maintenance and upgrade process for Oracle E-Business Suite applications. The tool presents maintenance and upgrades as step-by-step processes to ensure that each step is performed in order and maintains a log and status. It also provides project management capabilities and automates many of the tasks associated with the upgrade.
The new Oracle Maintenance Wizard Version 2.11 contains the Release Update Pack Assistant 12 that takes you from Oracle E-Business Suite 12.0.x to 12.0.4. The wizard has lots of new automation and enhancements.
Upgrade paths now included in the Maintenance Wizard are:
- 10.7 -> 11.5.10.2 (via the Upgrade Assistant 11.5.10)
- 11.0.3 -> 11.5.10.2 (via the Upgrade Assistant 11.5.10)
- 11.5.3+ -> 11.5.10.2 (via the Maintenance Pack Assistant 11.5.10)
- 11.5.8+ -> 12.0.4 (via the Upgrade Assistant 12)
- 12.0.0+ -> 12.0.4 (via the Release Update Pack Assistant 12)
- RDBMS 8i -> 10g (via the Database Assistant 10g)
- RDBMS 9i -> 10g (via the Database Assistant 10g)

New Version 2.12 of Oracle Maintenance Wizard was released on September 2, 2008.
A brand new Patch Monitoring tool is included in the Maintenance Wizard. Version 2.12 also contains lots of new automation, enhancements, and bug fixes.
The tool presents maintenance and upgrades as step-by-step processes to ensure that each step is performed in order and maintains a log and status. The multi-user tool provides project management capabilities and automates many of the tasks associated with the upgrade.
Upgrade paths now included in the Maintenance Wizard are:
10.7 — 11.5.10.2 (via the Upgrade Assistant 11.5.10)
11.0.3 — 11.5.10.2 (via the Upgrade Assistant 11.5.10)
